“hey would you get freaked out if i ever called you mom?”

and boa just laughs because she thinks he’s joking or something but she just, “no, i would be very honored if you called me mom.”

“kay neat.”

and taemin just grabs a juice from the fridge and goes stumbling back to his bedroom to sleep for a few more hours, and boa kind of forgets about the whole thing until later when he comes rushing out his bedroom shouting at the top of his lungs, “MOM! CAN I GO TO KEY’S?” and then he folds himself over the back of the couch to look at her like um hello you’re the only parent/guardian currently available please let me go to my friend’s house.

“sure, you can go,” she says, nodding her head and trying to wrap her mind around the fact that he really just called her mom.

“kay cool thanks i’ll text you when i get there bye”

and he just hurries out the door to go drive to his friend’s house

and boa is just smiling and laughing to herself when yunho gets home but she doesn’t say why until later on that night when taemin comes through the door right before his curfew and just “MOM! DAD! I’M HOME AND I’M GOING TO BED GOODNIGHT!” and they hear his door close from their bedroom and yunho just turns to boa with wide eyes like what did he just call you.
