I think this might’ve been said before but for people who draw the hermits with wings and stuff, why do most of them take so long to be able to fly? The simple answer is an elytra.
I’m not a simple person though. I think every season, the hermits wake up (whether that’s from the Watchers or not is a whole different story) and they just… forget how to fly. But as the months go by through the new season, they eventually learn how to use them and fly again.
Now what about when the elytra’s break. I say either their wings break or their wings (such as Grian having his iconic parrot wings and Xisuma who I see having beetle wings), the limbs get tired after a while and eventually hurt so much they just stop working. Thoughts??
