Well…. I studied Korean for two years & got to know him over a classmate who set us up as language partners because he wanted to improve his German & I wanted to speak more Korean to practice my pronunciation.Turns out we got along quite well & started going out after a couple of meetings. Now something important I want to mention here:
I didn’t start dating him just because of his nationality.Him being Korean is only a really small part of him (though it does have an influence on his behavior because of his cultural background) and the way you put your question made it sound - to me - like you see it as a required quality for someone I would like to date (or you would for that matter) which it is not (and shouldn’t be for you). Setting out to “get a Korean boyfriend” sounds really fetishizing and I don’t stand for this.
