Many times we show evidence to Babel, reports to Babel and she handles it like its normal, that puts me off, a leader knows what happened within their circle, she knows. (Liloupar's instinct is right, she has seen these type of people and no wonder why she is rude to them, however she is getting a little warm to Jeht and Tadhla)
Babel knows how to manipulate Jeht by showing empathy and motherly love since that is what Jeht wanted. She manipulated her and took advantage of her and the traveler's relationship. I am glad that Jeht has integrity and she still remember her roots and has decision on her own now, her and benben may have a wonderful and safe adventures.
