17. YUCKY DUSTER

Based out of Brooklyn, New York, USA is a very unique and highly talented group by the name of Yucky Duster! Definitely one of the most impressive and creatively inspiring bands of today (each and every one of their songs is a magical adventure). Another ArtPunk band with pop sensibilities that seem to provoke one’s imagination while musically illustrating a landscape of melodies and lyrical subject matter that is both mind-bending as it is catchy.

Yucky Duster is definitely a band to watch out for (if their creativity continues to flourish their achievements may go unmatched by the majority of indie artists and art students).

Without compromise, this band manages to capture elements that explore the nostalgic side of life as well as a dreamy & at-times psychedelic sound (with splashes of surf and grunge).

This is a band that stands strong on their own feet and creates a sound all their own while remaining artistically authentic (which is one of the toughest accomplishments to achieve as an expression) - and they make it look so easy. Yucky Duster instantly became one of my favorite bands (They are AWESOME)!
