so if you've been here a minute, you know that my online shops for art are called 'oyasumi cafe' right? like a play on oyasumikade or something but also because i love coffee and i've worked as a barista since i was 13/14.
WELL!! Last night i decided to sit down and officially make my art shop a mascot! This is Yu-Me and he's a robot that's kind of a mix of technozen and solar punk. (I LOVE SOLAR PUNK.)
Canonically, he works at the cafe because as a robot, he didn't know how to make 'expressions', so he thought working a very social job would help him learn how to move his faceplates in a way that makes him look happy or sad, or angry, etc. However, sometimes, making expressions can be very draining for him, which is when he puts on his lil helmet over there and uses the screen to emote. He also uses his radio dial on his chest to change his tone of voice manually.
