Back in 2009 instead of buying the newest tv or gaming console, I purchased a Dell Laptop for $1,000 dollars. One of the biggest investments I made at that time, which allowed us to get to where we are today. I used that laptop to put together our businesses. I’d borrow camera gear to film and photograph content for all the projects I was working on and I’d edit on that slow computer for close to 9 years... ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ After getting married instead of buying the latest TV or giving us the bigger room to sleep in, I invested into a MacBook Pro and used the master bedroom as our home office. Making that move gave us the space and freedom to continue building our businesses and growing creatively as individuals. To this day we don’t invest much into material things, unless they are for business and to help us grow closer as a couple. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I say this to highlight the fact that we all have a choice. If you are living in America or a country that provides you with opportunities to make something for yourself, take advantage of it and live your BEST life. Instead of spending $200 dollars a month on Starbucks, you can buy coffee bags to make your fix at home, and with the savings of at least $2000/yr you can use that money to buy a ticket to a conference or get the training you need to help you grow and reinvest it into the products or equipment you need to start your journey. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ It’s definitely not easy or guaranteed and when you do something out of the ordinary everyone will think you’re crazy. Every day brings on its own challenges, but I am at peace by having faith in God that he will continue to guide us and if we act, we will continue to WIN.
