A Big Delight...
These commercials for Hostess Twinkies and Fruit Pies are unique in that they were produced before their advertising mascots were created: Twinkie the Kid in 1971 and Fruit Pie the Magician in ‘73. Exactly when the ads were made isn’t known, but in the case of the Twinkies spot, an educated guess might be ‘70 because a girl seen wearing a witch costume resembles Witchiepoo from H.R. Pufnstuf. (The show first aired Saturday mornings on NBC from 1969-‘72.)

That Time He Tried Performance Art
Reportedly inspired by Yoko Ono, he did his first (and last) show, Go Pluck Myself, at Knotts Berry Farm on 9/14/1968. These three photos are the only surviving record of his act.
