Adeodatus Aquila
The First, Primarch of the Silver Order. He looks exactly as his Father and emulated him for some time, taking on his mannerisms, speech, body language, and all. He lost his own sense of self for some time and has since separated into his own person after the First War, but it has been a difficult process. He is unfalteringly dedicated to Marea, the two siblings possessing an unbreakable bond forged through the nature of who they are and what they were created for. He lives on the planet Dumayyil with Marea and the reborn Eighteenth.
Gavmieltus, the Gāriq
The Second, Primarch of the Sunbreakers. A bright, loving personality who wore her emotions on her sleeve whenever possible, and a true Mother to her legion. She was the Emperor’s Executioner and it weighed on her heavily, almost directly leading to her death at the end of the First War. She loved her Legion and Father dearly and went to any lengths to do her Duty to them.
Qaynān
The Third, Primarch of the War Flames. He was often silent and focused on his work, having difficulty talking to his siblings, but his weapons and machinery were unparalleled. Over the First War he learned to better interact with his siblings and grew a fondness for the twin daughters of his brother, Adam. He took care of the young girls and their younger brother until his death at the hands of C0R-DYC3-P5 and Varumen.
Icandus Caerleon
The Fourth, Primarch of the Mors Quietam. He was unsettling, possessing a dangerous and thinly controlled power, but a dear friend to Ysegith and Gavmieltus until the First War. He morphed into something horrific and cruel during the war, becoming a “handler” of sorts for Dordróim until the latter’s death. He died at the hands of Gavmieltus, but not before managing to lay a final blow that would kill his once beloved sister.
Kwiŭp Myātai Kyao Aobe Myau Wiŭnshaingip Myaut Kyao Aum-Kwiai Hebuŭllaom (Aobe-Myātaip)
The Fifth, Primarch of the Lightbringers. A highly charismatic man who knew the exact buttons to press to turn his siblings against their Father. He was not overtly prone to violence, but was capable of great destruction when he pleased. He and his co-archtraitor Jezebel orchestrated the First War and he fell willingly to Nurgle. He was slain by the Emperor himself on Terra.
Ankheserethes of Hæthe
The Sixth, Primarch of the Sons of the Shade. He was raised on Hæthe, a Necron tombworld, and served with the Imperium only briefly before finding it grating enough to leave. He was not present for the First War, but returned when Yano Xhi of the second legion appeared on his metaphorical doorstep, asking for his assistance in her treason. He is the true leader of the Second War, understanding more thoroughly how to run this war than his revenge-driven niece.
Varumen
The Seventh, Primarch of the Iron Serpents. A technomancer with a neglectful upbringing, Varumen struggled immensely with relating to people. His legion vied for his attention but very rarely gained it, Varumen not knowing or caring to learn how to be anything more than a commander to them. He possessed several augments and frequently interfaced directly with his battleship, The Cardinal Command. He died after mistakenly allowing the Abominable Intelligence C0R-DYC3-P5 into his mind, the AI immediately taking his body for themself and destroying it and Qaynān when he attempted to bring Varumen back to Terra.
Ysegith
The Eighth, Primarch of the Ethereal Night. While nominally on the side of Chaos during the First War, he served no Gods, simply having made his choice in attempting to prevent Gavmieltus and Icandus from killing one another. He laid low for much of the First War and reemerged only at the end, finding his most loved siblings dead. There he waited until the Emperor found him after the Battle on Terra, taking him below the Palace. Ysegith eventually baited the Legio Custodes into killing him.
Dordróim
The Ninth, Primarch of the Ruby Dawn. He possessed little personality or agency of his own, idolizing a single person and morphing himself to fit what they found acceptable. During the war, he ended up latching onto Icandus and suffered severely for it, turning his legion over to Slaanesh and trying to gain the favour of Icandus until it killed him. Some siblings found it amusing to refer to him as “The Dog”, which was true, if cruel.
Alastair Zotik
The Tenth, Primarch of the Swords Defiant. He was not a traitor by choice, but instead by force. When the archtraitor Jezebel revealed her plan to him and he denied her offer to join Chaos, she forced the daemon Akzil into his body, which consumed his soul over time. He was eventually killed by Gavmieltus and one of his swords taken by her and the other given to Landolf, who had been his closest brother.
Fabiultis Cybuetica
The Eleventh, Primarch of the Jerhkklah. The tallest of his siblings (a fact which Jezebel detested) and a loving father to his legion, if a little eccentric. He fought as a loyalist during the First War, although uncomfortable with the Imperium’s methods. After the First War, he left the Imperium to marry the xeno commander Vextra, and has been with her ever since, occasionally fighting Necrons and Orks for fun. He dies sometimes, but his status as a Perpetual makes it a trivial matter.
Landolf Egon
The Twelfth, Primarch of the Howling Fury. The First Found, he shows little, if any, influence from his home planet. He is calm and fatherly, having accidentally come to be seen as a Father by both his legion and serfs. He was the closest brother of Alastair, and mourned him after his death although he saw the necessity. After the First War, he held his ground when he told his Father that he must either be permitted to leave the Imperium or be struck down. He left the Imperium with a portion of his legion and serfs and retired to be the galaxy’s biggest grandpa.
Cabrus Aen
The Thirteenth, Primarch of the Crimson Hands. A brute by no small meaning of the word, his upbringing created a violent legion culture where the chain of command was ordained by force and he lead by nature of being able to beat any challengers into their proper place. While officially Chaos, he served no specific God, simply being there for the fun of it. He was killed at the Battle on Terra.
Quan Sinh and Quan Delun
The Fourteenth, Primarchs of the Star Guardians. They were identical twins, although Sinh later diverged from this. Sinh was the Empress of their home planet and Delun had taken on a role as Captain of the Guard, her personal guard, and they maintained a similar dynamic until their deaths, although they viewed each other as equals. They possessed a psychic bond, being one soul split between two bodies, and could fight in terrifying, perfect synchronization. Tzeentch wanted Delun greatly, and forced mutations upon him that lead to the order for Gavmieltus to execute him. After Delun’s death, Sinh, lost, fought Aobe-Myātaip and allowed herself to be killed.
Marea ü Tam Çendres
The Fifteenth, Primarch of the Desert Scimitars. She possesses a psychic power that was rumoured to have rivalled the Emperor’s, and while the truth of her soul is held close to the Emperor’s chest, it is at times said that she was created from a shard of himself. She is a diviner and pyromancer of not inconsiderable skill, and was slain by Kaiir prior to the First War. After her death, she was revived and placed upon the Golden Throne until 019.m31, at which point Adeodatus took her from Terra. She now lives on the planet Dumayyil with Adeodatus and the reborn Eighteenth, although she is destined to die in the near future from health issues caused by her first death.
Jezebel Eser
The Sixteenth, Primarch of the Tempest. The archtraitor alongside her brother Aobe-Myātaip and not well liked, she provided much of the force of the partnership while Aobe-Myātaip was able to draw siblings that otherwise disliked her to their side. She became a daemon of Khorne and Slaanesh, playing the two Gods for boons like the only child of divorced parents. She survived the Battle on Terra by escaping into the Warp and is now the only living daemon Primarch, living a life of hedonism.
Kaiir
The Seventeenth, Primarch of the Stellar Fangs. He did not like his siblings and had an almost irrational hatred for Psykers, looking to cause their extermination. After he attacked and killed his fellow Primarch, Marea, for her witchery, he escaped. Although a Perpetual, Fabiultis tracked him down and impaled him with the Fulgurite, killing him permanently for his betrayal.
The Eighteenth (Umut)
The Eighteenth, Primarch of the Lunar Spears although he never met nor led them. He died before reaching adulthood at the hands of scientists who sought to discover the secrets of immortality from his Primarch biology, and his soul was later found by Marea. After she and Adeodatus left Terra, Marea recreated his infant body, resurrecting the Primarch and raising him. He considers her a mother to himself and calls her as such. Having been raised away from violence and the Imperium, he considers himself a pacifist.
Adam Kalhu
The Nineteenth, Primarch of the Knights of Rain. He never joined the Imperium, although he was found, being the Emperor of the Empire of Kalhu and greatly opposing the Imperium’s methods. He refused to let his Empire be folded into the Imperium unless his Father could truthfully guarantee their lives and rights would be treated with the same sanctity they were at current, and thus never joined. The destabilization of the Warp as a result of the First War lead to a daemon incursion which killed much of his people, including himself, and orphaned his twin daughters and infant son. Qaynān took and cared for his children until his own death.
Kith
The Twentieth, Primarch of the Solitary. He deliberately isolated himself from those around him, believing his presence brought misfortune to those he cared for. He constantly wore a mask as a way to hide what he considered an unsightly scar (this was more a case of vanity than it actually being as horrific as he believed). While originally seeing Tzeentch as the God he might serve, he unwittingly fell to Malal instead. He died on Terra, begging Adeodatus for forgiveness as he could not tell the difference between the First and their Father.
