i want to draw this but hey, note 2 self,

moku AND yrevat under cut!

yrevat: too busy with work for a lot of things but will do repairs for very cheap for friends, especially if they come bearing tasty meals as payment. will go out to eat somewhere if she's in the area, or in exchange for repair work. otherwise, sort of a distant friend but is always open to doing phonecalls while she works. makes time in her schedules for things like birthday parties and new years' celebrations, and to go out to do something with prism.

luca: organises meetings with friends and is the linchpin of a lot of her friend groups. always willing to hear people out, pays close attention to the moods of all her friends during parties and hates leaving people out. is that friend who will pay close attention to a story someone's telling even if everyone else is talking over them. an angel in leafy disguise. not the type to lean on anyone's shoulder, rather proud in that respect. when she has to lean on someone, she'll use ken.

prism: sort of a hermit, social anxiety keeps them from attending parties but loves small gatherings in which everyone eats some sort of nourishing meal and has a chill time at someone's place of residence later. can sometimes be hard to get a hold of, but tries their best to provide advice and be a shoulder for people to lean on in trying times. loves people, but doesn't have the energy for them a lot of the time.

yrevat: shorthand master, texts a lot to keep in contact with customers. uses grammar and capitals but only because the phone inserts them by itself, so sometimes things don't have apostrophes or things have apostrophes that shouldn't. breaks her phones really often because they drop, so likely has a model of phone that she can equip with a chunky buff case.

prism: yappy social media buff, probably pays a lot of attention to their phone. prompt responses to texts, even has autoresponses programmed into their phone to tell people when they're sleeping. a model that's two iterations behind the current model because they don't like updating to something so expensive so quickly.

ken: will never respond to your texts about anything that's not important but will drop you occasional silly photos with sillier captions (i.e. an ant swarm with "Ant convention." or a dog sleeping with "What is this?"). notoriously hard to get a hold of. he looks and listens to every message he gets, though

ken: style most likened to bajiquan. short range, very fast, very strong, very aggressive; a sharp contrast from their personality. rather attentive to their opponent's movements and is a fast learner, so can be very unpredictable. fights a lot for fun, tends to pull moves from all over the place just to see how they work.

ken's fighting style nets them a 10, but the fact that he sees fighting as little more than exercise brings it down to something like 8.

pyja: style most likened to aikido. redirects movement and energy, largely defensive. isn't that great of a hand to hand fighter, so gets by deflecting most everything, but reaction time can be somewhat slow. doesn't quite think on its feet and needs a bit of time to get used to not having a sword around, but once she's used to it, can hold her own. doesn't see what's so good about fighting when swordplay is much more useful.

i'd give pyja a solid 7, but it would get boring fighting them hand to hand after a while seeing as their style is largely defensive.

yrevat: judo. don't ask how an asura yrevat's age manages throws like ones seen in judo but she does. ruthless and cold, almost derisive style of fighting. doesn't particularly like sparring, but won't hesitate to throw some fool over her shoulder for giving her mouth. physical strength abound but lacks agility, but she doesn't think she needs it. she'll take whatever you dish at her and then some. doesn't train because she doesn't really want to.

11. has the physical strength and finesse which is scary enough as is, but that combined with her personality makes for a terrifying combo. thankfully, she sticks to her guns and bombs because fighting makes her knees ache.

prism: style most likened to tae kwon do. very fast and leg oriented, rather aerobic, a style picked up more for the edge it gives prism in dodging than anything else. needs wide space to do much of anything, but can be hard to catch. lacks physical strength, but makes up for it in agility and spunkiness.

prism, i'd say 4? it'd first be scary but once you get prism's patterns down it's just a matter of catching them

luca: boxer (brawler) or pro wrestling style. heavy fisted, doesn't tend to dodge a lot but has the physical strength to take hits and keep going. is a bit scared by her own excitement regarding fights. inexperienced with hand to hand due to her young age (she's less than a year old, give her a break) but she's sparring buddies with ken. wants to emulate a beetle's fighting style into her own.
