Self-pampering Enlightenment
Just after thinking that today was going to be a self-pampering day, I had to accept the reality which pointed me to a direction at which piles of workload were there waving hands. Hahaha.. However, I am not overwhelmed, for the previous YouTube session told me one thing; that to meditate doesn’t always mean you must be in a sitting position-watching your breathing pattern. Doing a particular activity with your full attention on it is also a kind of meditation. It was immediately my ‘eureka’ epiphany. I often tell this to my husband that every time I need to read references for my paper writing, my metabolism gets smoother which causes my health to be well maintained. Now I discover the reason. I, who love to dwell within my benign cocoon of reading, am in love with meditating. Maybe I was once born as a famous author and academia? I wish! I love it, I do not need to deny that, but somehow it gets me thinking… why do I become a little more irritated with almost every hooman I need to get in touch with? I hope this social irritation is still curable, because how can I live all alone unless I am strong enough, both physically and mentally, to commit my life as a hermit. It is never going to be possible, though. But, hey.. meditation is about to begin again. Bye, society ^^
