Update on my YouTube Channel
Hello everyone. I need to make an announcement.
If you recall, I told you guys that I haven't gotten the chance to record any new episodes these last few weeks. Well-- that remains unchanged.
Life's become a lot more lately with helping plan and prepare for two weddings, keeping up with house-keeping, being with my family, and working at a new job. It's been so busy that YouTube has officially been pushed to the side. In order to stay healthy-- mentally, physically, emotionally, etc-- I have made a decision.
My channel will be on hold for the rest of the summer and into the fall.
By "on hold" I mean that there will be no new videos, no new content. Maybe I'll share some art of mine if I'm feeling particularly inspired, and maybe even give you guys small updates on how things are going-- but that will be all. No new videos.
At busy seasons like this, one must choose what's important; what's worth keeping up and what's worth holding off. And YouTube has officially gone into the "worth holding off" category.
I don't know what God has in store for me and my channel. But I do have peace in the choice I am making in pushing it to the side while I focus on what's truly important. This decision has also left me looking back at what life's been like as a YouTuber. The good, the bad, and the ugly. The good-- when my videos and posts leave an impact in someone's life or make them laugh-- the bad-- when I get nothing but demanding comments; foolish viewers behaving like spoiled children instead of appreciating all the work I put into my content-- and the ugly-- having to deal with a stalker that STILL remains a problem to this day, all thanks to connections I made here on YT.
I can honestly say with my whole heart that I'm ready to take a break. <3 I know I will miss it. I will miss recording and having hilarious bloopers-- I'll miss editing for hours a day at my desk, petting one of my cats on my lap, and smiling as another sound effect smoothly slips into place. I will miss seeing you all react to my work on Saturdays, watching as you all laugh, cry, or scream at your screens. I will miss it all. But I know this is what I need to do.
So-- I hope and pray that you all will stay safe, stay smart, and stay kind. No matter how many people have twisted and deformed your warmth and vibrance, don't stop shining. Don't stop being loving.
