i know, i know. get a new person to obsess over already. as if there aren't a million wonderful songs i just never hear every day by virtue of sleeping and working and trying to figure out how to spell restaurant without googling it (too late). but whatever. fLako is something special. i blame ms erin for giving me the fever. this remix takes an absolutely scorchingly spare minimal piece by cloud boat and builds it out perfectly. he manages to preserve the powerful beauty of the vocals, and creates a groove that only sharpens and refines them with repetition. sleep tight.
