* The Velvet Choker

Although this is a little played, I suggest getting a thin, strip of velvet material, preferably one that isn’t frayed. If it’s a dark color you can get away with singeing the edges with a lighter. Here’s a good example of one you could purchase on Etsy or at your local fabric store.
