When I was in counseling, I was told to look for signs, billboards, anything with print, and pick a word, it could be a simple word or a big word (she recommends simple because it doesn't take as long) but you say the word, then you read the lettering backwards, and then read it again. Whenever I'm having a panic attack, and it calms me down. You're so focused on the words in front of you, you're able to calm down. I hope you find it as helpful as it has been for me.
