There’s a massive amount of music you’ve never heard. In fact, there’s music out there that only a handful of people has listened to, or even no one except for it’s creator has heard yet. You could go on like, bandcamp or whatever, and listen to a completely new song.

Who’s going to stop you? No one! We don’t do things because we don’t think to do them, or we don’t think we’d be able to do them, but that’s not true at all. For almost every form of creating there’s accessible resources between youtube and wikihow and fora. You won’t be very good at anything you do the first time, or maybe like, ever, but that doesn’t matter at all. The result being good or not isn’t what dictates if it was worth doing, the only thing that really matters is if you got anything out of it, even if that thing was just killing time. You’ll look at the world in a completely different light the moment you realize you can bake bread. That you can grow tomatoes and edible flowers on your balcony. That you can make music and video games and write stories and draw without owing anyone anything. Don’t stop! Don’t give up before you’ve started! Decide to do the thing that is kind on you even if that thing is just getting up in the morning and going to bed on time. Decide to eat the food instead of not eating it. Read a book instead of dissociating. Draw an ugly picture of a cat. It’s all wonderful and fantastic and you’re accomplishing so much by just keeping on in a very unforgiving world and by trying and growing and not giving in to hopelessness you show others that they can too. Don’t stop now!!

We hold so much power in our little hands. It’s the age of technology and a societal problem of mental illness. You could look up a tutorial on youtube and build your own game today, even if you have no experience at all. Depending what time it is in your timezone you could probably like, churn out a decent chunk of basic game mechanics. Use temporary graphics while you’re working though. You’ll want to change the final graphics to suit the gameplay later anyway, so you’re just slowing down the framework if you start with that.
