oh... that art just made me think of an au i helped develop where wels n iskall are protecting different ppl. (iskall protecting mumbo maybe, wels idk) wels is a knight, big on honour and loyalty and has trained hard. iskall is a mercenary for hire, one of the best in the business. iskall sees wels as uptight and sees knights as being in the position for the power of it. whereas wels sees iskall as disloyal, simply working for whoever pays most.
anyway, things are all fine until the ppl they're protecting go to the same party. they hear about a plot that would put their ppl in danger by capturing/killing/framing them (whilst iskall n wels are squabbling in the corridor or something.) but, before they can warn their ppl, the two get caught. they wake up in the middle of a forest somewhere and now have to work together to get back to who they're protecting before it's too late. with a lot of arguing n learning that their first impressions of each other aren't completely what they thought. (and learning to actually like each other.)
there's more to this but im already dumping so much on you without you asking, im so sorry. I'm just imagining iskall trying to protect mumbo and then all this happening and a Lot of crushes developing that they refuse to acknowledge. anyway im sorry do with my plot dump what u will. I love ur art a lot.
Sounds like a fun premise anon! And the characterization's pretty fitting, well from my very limited knowledge of Wels anyways, honestly I barely watched his hermitcraft episodes but his houseflipper series is amazing!
