I wanted to ask you something about your writing process: when youβre working on a fanfiction, do you keep the book next to you (either a physical copy or a digital one)? I was wondering if, while you write β especially battle scenes or dialogues, you read from the book and then rewrite, or if you have another method.
Iβm asking because Iβd really like to try writing a fanfiction myself, but I feel like if you keep checking the book it might take a really long time (maybe hours for just one chapter π ).

First of all, thank you for reading my fics! Im so so glad u enjoyed reading them! For my pjo I have digital copies of the books (pdf files i found online) that i use! It's really simple and i personally find it the easiest way to write fics.
Basically, I copy/paste the entire chapter that I want to write into a doc and then give it a brief reread and then plan around it. After that I add in the dialogue/fight scenes/oc stuff etc.
Basically, as I write in my parts of the story as i work my way down the chapter (I hope that makes sense!). Once, im satisfied with it I copy paste it into wp! Usually, I do it portions (cut the bits ive rewritten into wp) just so I can reread what ive changed and keep track. Thats basically it haha!
This seems really confusing but its quite simple once you actually do it.
