No because the befriending system for Yo-Kai Watch 4 was actually so bad! Like, instead of battling and feeding Yo-Kai for a chance for them to give you your medal, which is a one-and-done thing once you do get their medal and now you're their friend, you have to battle for a chance to get kon (pieces of their soul which you just rip out of them, not very befriending if you ask me), and then you have to repeat this uncertain process an absolute minimum of approximately 4 times, and that's only if you get the exact amount and type of kon you need on every battle.
Realistically, you're probably going to spend 3 hours battling the same yo-kai over and over again, only rarely getting white or red kon, and then fusing the white kon to get enough red kon to have enough golden kon, then going back in and collecting even more white and red kon that you need now since you used it all in order to get the golden kon that you needed. And if the yo-kai you want is inside a gate that you only have one rare key for, then I guess you're out of luck! I mean, I spent a grand collective total of four hours just trying to get Tattletell during my playthrough over the course of a few days.
WHO'S IDEA WAS THIS?!!
