Haha nice answer. I’m mostly the same. I prefer subs but I also like dubs. I mean, they’re rarely up to par with japanese dub, but as long as its decent, I’m fine. Like I really the english dubbing in games from Atlus =]
I've actually been really surprised by the dub in games lately! they've been really good imo :O
but yeah I think a lot of the time it's just harder to match the voices with a characters look here, and plus japanese voice actors tend to put in a lot more emotion

I doooo mostly prefer subs over dubs, but there are actually a few dubs I prefer over the subs! (YYH, Inuyasha, Cowboy Bebop, Fruits Basket, Eureka Seven, FMA)
I feel bad that a lot of dubs get so much hate right off the bat (though they aren’t as good as they used to be and basically the only company really doing them now is funimation), and I’m guilty of doing this a lot myself but some people can be really elitist about it :(

THAT MAKES ME SO SO SO HAPPY THAT YOU'VE STARTED LOG HORIZON!! IT NEEDS SOOOO MUCH MORE LOVE ;;
it seems a lot of people didn't want to give it a chance because they said it was copying SAO (which isn't even the first anime to have the plot of being trapped in a game), but Log Horizon just did it so much better imo.

An anime you can't stand?
the first one that popped into my head was SAO.
I actually did enjoy it enough halfway through the first half of the first season but then it just....ugh. and I try not to let fandoms get in the way of my opinion on a series but no such luck here. not to say the whole fandom is bad, I do have friends on here that like it but most of the stuff that has pissed me off has been in the log horizon tag. (which I recommend you watch!!!!)
