“Are you sure this is tea? It tastes…funny…”

eunbi looks down at the cup in her hand, swirling the liquid around gently. “hm.” she wonders, taking another sip from it and smacking her lips, “it definitely tastes like tea to me.” she says, holding her hand out to take daeun’s cup from her. she tastes the younger girl’s tea, using the same tasting process as before, “i think this is a stronger brew.” she says, “it’s a little more bitter than the tea usually is. then again it’s been about two years since i last tried this tea, so my gauge may not be the best.”
she hands the tea back, looking around at the other people having tea, before back at daeun. “it’s a pretty day.” she comments lamely, unsure of what else to say. she opts for grabbing a cookie, taking a small bite of it and humming, “at least the cookies still taste the same.” she says happily, finishing the rest of it in one bite. “does yours taste good?”
