Wanted to draw Ygrette taking a cold plunge for my birthday month~ uncensored up on my Patreon!

So many times in tv/movies/books/anime, there are strong women, and there are the women who are love interests. If a female character is strong, she is not the love interest. If a female character is the love interest, she is reduced to a damsel in distress. Not once, but twice now, Jon has loved 2 strong ass women, that didn’t need him to save them. They can be both the love interest and a warrior. I can count the number of times this happens in a story on 1 hand.

Please reblog with other shows/movies/books/anime where this happens, because I want to fill my whole life with these stories, and maybe Hollywood will figure out that women don’t always need men to save them, and men can love a strong woman and not feel immaculated.
