Medical Bills and the Bar Exam There are several main components necessary to obtain a license to practice in Michigan. 1) Earn a law degree (✔️), 2) Pass the MPRE which is an ethics exam (✔️), 3) Pay fees to take the bar, have the state complete and extensive background check, 4)Pass the bar and the background check. This is where medical bills come in place. I experienced a season where I had to undergo 3 unexpected surgeries and seizures. At the time, my student health insurance did not cover all of my medical bills (i.e. being pulled unconscious from a car after loosing after having a seizure and hitting the freeway wall.) Thank God for the Good Samaritan who saw me convulsing because i did not have a history of having seizures t. In conclusion, these unpaid medical expenses must be paid so that I can be cleared to take the bar. I just wanted to clarify that aspect. I have been working hard trying to reach this financial goal but I need help. I’ve been working several part time jobs while searching for a full-time job but the reality is that I need help. Once again, any assistance in helping me reach my goals is greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance. - Joi #help #yetwillItrustHim
