His fingers flew across the keyboard as guilt threatened to eat him from inside. He wasnât meaning to be rude, he hadnât meant to hurt her feels and as he sensed Emmy walking out of the room and towards the kitchen, he glanced up after her for a moment before sighing lightly in defeat. How was he suposed to react to all of this? His head was sore, his heart was hurting in ways it had never done before and the one person who was trying to be there for him - heâd shoved so hard away heâd be surprised if she was ever nice to him again.
Ah.
But with how much heâd failed, thatâs what he deserved, right? He didnât get to find happiness. His life never mattered and he was a fool for ever attempting to find even the tinyest bit of hope that the RFA had been able to provide to him. He sighed, eyes glancing over the CCTV feed that heâd hacked into, watching the hooded figures that walked around the garden area but still unable to locate the actual location. Was this Saeranâs doing too? Was he skilled enough to keep even him out of the places that would help to locate him? Was that how much he wanted to stay away from him?
He jumped slightly, freeing himself from his thoughts when the food was placed before him, glancing towards the bowl for a moment before reaching up to remove the headphones and giving Emmy a rather confused look. Why wasnât she mad? Why was she still being so nice?
â...what about you?â
