YEAH-LIU！FINALLY 野柳: Yeliou Geopark
a very long 90 min bus ride took us to Yeliou, and we made it there with 2 hours to spare before closing this time :) It's a cape located on the northern coast of Taiwan where the waves and wind have left unique/fun rock formations. It reminded me of looking at clouds, hearing someone else say what it looks like, and then making myself see it too. If it wasn't for the bulletin board at the entrance naming the rocks, it probably wouldn't have had much novelty. Nevertheless, it served as a good excuse to get out of Taipei and made for some good pictures :]
we had fun with the surprisingly very circular and deep pot holes and the mushroom & elephant rock too, but lost interest before finding the more popular "queen's head" "fairy shoe" and "BBQ drumstick."
