I may be overthinking this but when I see the Undertale fandomās double standards when comes to Chara being a special snowflake and Frisk and Kris are constantly ridiculed at every turn it kinda starts to feel borderline racist at times(I mean know theyāre nationalities are kinda ambiguous but theyāre clearly not white/caucasian like Chara) I noticed this trend in many fandoms recently where as long as a villain fitās into the good looking white emo category theyāre some sort of ātroubledā baby
I have been waffling for days on how to answer this ask.
Iām not gonna say I havenāt seen that trope youāre talking about. Iām not gonna say I havenāt seen racism in fandoms. Iām not even gonna say I havenāt seen racism in Undertaleās fandom.
People see what they want to see in regards to the charactersā races. They are designed ambiguous. Sometimes people take that to ugly places, intentionally or not.
And those are places I simply do not want to tread, so Iām leaving the topic here.
So this is creepy.
