Back into the Swing?
So I'll admit it. I haven't actually written any new fiction in months. Probably a year. But signing on to the NaNoWriMo IRC (yes, it's still running, years after being pulled down from the website) I was drafted into a 'cabin' for Camp Nano. The great thing about Camp Nano, as opposed to the November free-for-all that marks most of our noveling time, is that you can set your own word goal. As someone who has attempted many the NaNoWriMo and never won one, I'm cutting myself a little slack and aiming for 15k next month. How about you?

24 Hour Wars
Well, my writing's been in a significant period of inactivity recently, but now I'm back to the 24 hour Word Wars. A 24 Hour War is (you guessed it) where we write as much as we can in said 24 hours and tally it up at the end, while still keeping a reasonable sleeping/eating/etc. schedule.
I have a little bit now, but I just remembered my login a couple places I'd been wanting to get into. Still, I have the incentive that I'm actually ahead right now, and I'd like to stay that way.

May 2k11 YOTN Challenge
So I'm working on this month's Year of the Novel challenge. I'm not going to rewrite the entire challenge here, but the basic idea is writing with another person's character. This is proving to be a good deal more difficult than I thought.
Never having been much of one for fanfiction, I'm placed in the predicament of having a plotline in my head (hint: think evil minions and unionization), yet having no idea how this character would react.
Don't relax, yet, Nova. I'll conquer your thoughts and motivations yet.Β
