i enjoy the idea of this ship in the past more so than the present, bc the idea of the two of them being very close but also constantly like. heckling each other amuses me. i can’t find it now but there was a comic involving oogway inciting kai to chase him with a broom (?) in his hands, which means he like. clothes-lined himself in the doorway and keeled over and that’s basically how i like to imagine a good chunk of their interaction back before Oogway Changed
that said, it is somewhat hard for me to see oogway in a true romantic light lies down so even tho i do enjoy this ship, i tend to see or ship it very lightly or casually, in an almost romantic friendship manner as opposed to anything very deeply. uh. sensual, i guess you’d say

of course, i’m not opposed to the idea of exploring their dynamic in the present either, bc. well. tbh i haven’t really given it a lot of thought. there’s a lot about the third movie i haven’t really dug into, thanks to moving on into a new fandom not long after it came out rip
