unrelated but one time i came up with a weird concept for i guess some kind of deltarune swap au but like the characters' personalities don't really change?? i guess???
except the only idea i had was that whatever jevil did that made the kings decide to lock him away, jevil instead frames seam for and seam gets locked up instead despite their protests
and jevil just gets hit with the guilt stick and quits his job so he's the one to set up a shop instead and he's just constantly living knowing he framed his friend for murder or something
and seam kinda goes mad from the isolation but they still mostly act like themself i guess but something just isn't right about them or something
and also the same stranger that spoke to jevil probably approached them at some point and was probably the only company they got so yeah that didn't help-
idk something like that
