Phil wasn’t always the best when it came to choosing the right moment to bring up something that needed to be said. Sometimes he thought it would be a good idea to bring up something moments after Rebecca walked into the house after a long, grueling week that consisted of countless hours of traveling. This was one of those times, of course. “Alright. Fine. I can bring it up some other time. Sheesh.” Phil unscrewed the cap from the unopened bottle of water that he had in his grasp and took a quick drink of the liquid. And almost instantly, he felt a little regret. He knew how rigorous her schedule was. “Sorry. It’s just been something on my mind and I was... I don’t know. I was lookin’ forward to getting to talk to you about it. Shit can wait though. It’s not important.”

Though he was sure she was trying to be serious, the Intercontinental Champion couldn’t help but laugh at the younger woman’s determination... or maybe it was stubbornness. He wasn’t exactly sure what it was but one thing was for sure: Finn had every reason to continue to admire her. “Take it easy, killer. You gotta give some of these women a little more credit than you are. Not all of them are pushovers. I’m sure some of them would love to act on things if given the chance,” he responded. Finn leaned his shoulder against the wall next to them and relaxed on the concrete backstage at the show they were working tonight. “Someone piss ya off, lass?”
