I’ve decided I’m gonna do Yden too
A portrait I made of Arcien Yu'Yden as a study! I wanted to practise how to draw their features and, after several failed attempts, I think I'm happy with this one~ (They're my morally questionable drow/tiefling wizard!)
Most peope expect watchers, the infamous undead crystal creatures that lurk the depths of caves, to have a reserved demeanor to them. But some watchers have grown bored from living far too many years. These may be more prone to approaching unexpecting adventurers and either aiding them or hindering them- Or entangling them in strange warlock pacts, of course.
Hi! It's been a while since I got to draw Yden's watcher form, Alieae! Which is a sort of fake identity for them to commit crimes with. They may not be the BBEG, but they are still a massive bother to the party, specially since they're the warlock's grand-patron. Kinda. I played with some new stuff here and I do like the result of it. They're just kind of extra~

Hello! Today I bring a long-awaited reference, starring Arcien Yu'Yden (they/them), my tiefling/drow wizard! I haven't drawn them in a bit, but they've always been one of my faves. Yden has been filling a very different role in my campaign (where they're morally very questionable) vs the campaign Yxala is in (where they get to be chiller and a fairly nice parent). I love exploring what a character could've been like in different conditions. However, only the first version gets the cool crystal arm artefact! (Also, feel free to ask any question you may have about them, I love answering those!) As usual, reblogs are super appreciated! References like this are always very hard to get done

FOURTH ROUND (FINAL!) [Sexyblorbo polls]: Arcien Yu'Yden vs Yxala Erant

And at long last, after besting 14 other participants, the last two that remain are taking a fight!
In one side we have Arcien Yu'Yden- Maybe a BBEG in disguise, a kind of undead crystal entity under a tiefling's guise, with plenty of drama regarding their twin children. NPC in my campaign!
In the other hand, Yxala Erant- Believed dead for ten years, she came back, angrier than ever, ready to save both of her partners that had now turned evil- With plenty of violence! Current PC!
Now, it's your choice if the mysterious and fancy enby or the buff fiery butch should take the win here. I'll leave this poll open for a week. The winning character will get a proper illustration made, where they'll look as handsome as I can manage. This is the last of the first round polls! Which brings two morally questionable characters with very different sort of flavours! Let's get to them!
Ilztvyll is that stinky entity you find in some dark alleyway selling you questionable goodies. A rat. Kinda undead. You can throw him against a wall and he'd probably squeak like a plush toy. He's funny in a pathetic way. Breaks the fourth wall. Has an extra-planar business he's made with other iterations of himself. Punchable.
Arcien Yu'Yden is a desperate parent who has taken some horrible decisions. In my campaign, they have kept their identity as a crystal undead entity hidden for decades, all while pulling the strings to settle a long due vengeance. They keep a friendly and fanciful mask at all times, but deep enough, they have full BBEG potential. Players suspected so for quite a long time.
These two make for fine sexymen. In fact, I've drawn Ilzt dressed as Spamton and Yden as Sans in the past (in unrelated circumstances). Now, it's your chance to decide who's the perfect sexyman fit: The funny merchant guy or the morally grey BBEG in disguise!
