The opening song is fantastic, and all the imagery of the three pearls, one for each girl it has to mean SOMETHING and I'm excited.

The story of Inuyasha and Kagome fighting Root Head is a fantastic way to start this, as it is an instant connection to where the Manga left off. I kept wondering how it would end, seeing as Kagome wasn't pregnant or anything, but I understand now, and I'm WORRIED. Great cliff hanger.

OK LET ME SCREAM ABOUT SESSHOUMARU. I did not expect him in the very first episode and I nearly fell off my fucking couch. First he talks to Kohaku, and calls Root Head "annoying" which is KAFHDKKDNFJFJTJT SO ON PAR I FUCKING LOVE IT.

AND THEN. AND THEEEEEEEN. When root head is attacking the village and Sango is wondering why it isn't attacking their house, AND IT PANS UP TO SESSHOUMARU ON THE FUCKING ROOF I CANNOT I AM DECEASED.

He was there SOLELY to guard Rin. ONLY FOR RIN. THAT'S CANON YA'LL. COME AND CELEBRATE WITH MEEEEEEEEE.
