i dont know if this makes literally any sense. but. dagger by slowdive makes me imagine a universe where the last of selenia's powers that gave her the soul tie to the apothecary manifested into a soul tie to rone after he cast gentle repose over her. her soul being attached to rone's magic and always lingering in the back of his brain, rone seeing her in his peripherals when he's barely looking or faintly hearing her voice in his head. seeing her in the beyond when he falls into death saves. and he just has to live with the fact that he didn't really let her in or try to get along with her and now that she's dead her soul is literally living in the edges of his consciousness instead of leonas being able to see her or something. yeah
