i’m only asking this bc i used to use chatgbt for my school assessments so i recognise the patterns but girl do u use ai for writing ??? 😭 the em dashes in every paragraph, the constant listing in threes, the long ish paragraph and then a short sentence.
like idk the wisdom teeth megan fic was so ai 😭😭💔💔💔 no one uses that many em dashes and the actual writing style is lacking something and it’s just like…… idk… fake…
hi! i get where you’re coming from, and no worries — i totally understand why it might seem that way. but just to clarify, i don’t use ai for my writing.
i’ve been writing for about four years now; i release articles for my school, and even for national campus journalisms,, and this has honestly never been an issue before. my style has definitely evolved over time, and i know it’s not perfect — but everything i post is written by me.
I'll admit the emotions in my writing might come across as a bit lacking — i’m still learning how to convey them better and really capture the depth i’m going for.
as for the writing style — thank you for pointing that out. i didn’t realize some of those habits (like em dashes or rhythm of sentences 💔💔) came off that way. i’ll try to be more mindful of it and improve in the future. Also i'd like to add — i have a BETA reader who reads my works as I'm writing on google docs. ( @pinksillypony @twelve )
