IM SORRY THIS TOOK SO LONG TO COME OUT (irl stuff) BUT IM HERE TO GIVE FOOD, THIS POST IS KINDA A MESS SO SORRY
First thing I wanna talk about is CHARLOTTE!! and yes she is a survivor in this au-
“Like father like daughter; the apple didn’t fall far, did it?”
After the ‘death’ of her father, Charlottes psyche slowly deteriorated over time. Not too harshly as she still is quite tame, but it got to a point where she became just like Guest. She reacted violently to bullies, have a deep and personal grudge against bacons and she sticks to herself mostly all the time :[
Matt took her under his wing when Guest inevitably disappeared and tried his best to take care of her. She got forsakened shortly after her 15th birthday (got snatched in her sleep) and has a neutral relationship with the rest of the cast. She’ll do her best to help out the team but she doesn’t fully trust them yet. The others are a bit scared of her only because she carries an axe with her everywhere she goes (she feels safe with it, without it she feels like someone will try and take her life again- :[[[ ) and her dark expression. Noob and Elliot seem to be the only survivors that attempt to communicate with her and include her in on the survivor meetings. But, ofc the only soul Charlotte communicates with a lot is her ghost mom 😭
You’ll usually find her sitting in front of the fireplace or outside cutting down trees to supply firewood.
Not so fun fact, Guest can’t see her face due to it being heavily blurred in his vision (silenced 😔) so he has no idea that he’s killing his own daughter. Even though it’s been literal years since he last seen her, he would still recognize her so the Spectre made sure he couldn’t tell WE HATE SPECTRE. Charlotte is terrified of her father but she knows he’s not killing her on purpose.
Now back to factoids abt Guest-
He often questioned his own bloodlust and expresses a bit of guilt. Even though he despises Bacons for what happened to his parents and people, he can’t help but feel like what he’s doing is wrong. These thoughts are often shut down by other thoughts firmly believing he is the hand of justice. That he needs to take matters into his own hands for any justice to be made and done. He often very vaguely brings up his guilt to Daisy and Matt but since they don’t know the wiser they sorta reenforce the idea that yeah killing the bacons is a good thing 😭
Matt eventually found out about Guests activities after Daisy’s death when Guest asked him to help carry two bodies out to a bonfire pit, those two bodies were the very assassins that killed Daisy. Guest thought that somehow Matt would understand the revenge killing but instead Matt was horrified that his best friend would do something like this. This lead to an argument and Matt begging Guest not to continue his killings. The last thing Guest ever told Matt before ‘disappearing’ was that he was sorry for exposing him to this and asked him to promise him he will keep Charlotte safe and happy. (In the case he doesn’t come back from ambushing the general. And he certainly did not :[ )
Every round that he’s participating in, the survivors in his eyes look like the bacon soldiers he ambushes moments before he got forsakened. (It’s to encourage him to kill them since if they didn’t look like bacons he wouldn’t hurt them lol) When he isn’t in a round, his limbo is his empty home. Dark, gloomy and quiet. No sign of life or light. And no Daisy and Charlotte 😔
-Pre-forsaken; There’s a huge bonfire pit in the back of the cabin and Guest usually lights it up and brings Charlotte outside to roast marshmallows and hotdogs. He also taught her hunting and camping skills during these bonfire nights. Because of this, the fireplace brings her a sense of comfort and safety.
-Charlie often makes bracelets from twine and scraps of leather, usually for herself but only a few times she actually gifted these to others. (Her parents, Matt, Noob, Elliot)
-On rare times, Daisy appears in Guests limbo. They use this time to spend time with each other as much as they can like slow dancing, cuddles, brief conversations….💔
-Through all her seriousness, Charlie has moments of clarity where she’s in a lighter mood and often jokes with Noob. One of the rare times she’s smiling.
-Daisy often plays lil ghostly tricks against the other survivors, like making certain objects levitate for no reason or moving objects from their original place. Makes the others think they’re going nutty but it’s plain fun for both Daisy and Charlie
