Not to fight every one of you in a dimly lit alley, but I always found the assumption that all the egos are living at the manor happily with Darkiplier.. kind of unrealistic?
You mean NONE of the lovely cast of homicidal maniacs would go leech off actor mark? Sure to them he may just be a man but he’s LOADED. And who’s to say Mark doesn’t want an occasional idiot to do work for him?
Dark and Wilford having to deal with their own faction while Mark occasionally will send a new ‘innocent’ face needing rescue but they’re just informants for whatever fuckshit is going on at the manor (his OLD MANOR- he’s STILL salty about that but whatever he got a new place with a better pool)
I would not put it past Mark to take a mentally ill teenager (Yandere) and groom them to be the ultimate spy and betrayal over there- being a sweet quiet girl no one expects. She has no one really, potentially just being a bastard child of Wilford which mark LOVES abusing, having her uniform proudly display red in contradiction to Wilford’s (fuck ass) pink
Oh and Host? He’s DEFINITELY using his powers to flatter Mark with his grand visions of his destiny and you know Mark he’s happy to have someone narrate his handsome awesomeness so he pays what- to him- is petty change in order to ‘secure his future’, and Host just leeches tf out of him lol.
I also kind of see Derek Derickson seeing the business opportunity behind it, I mean a seemingly ageless actor who somehow is still kicking? The world is fascinated! They’ll pay for whatever Mark claims gives him immortality… with his help of course!
Unfortunately his little squirt Eric seems to have moral qualms with this, and after challenging Actor directly for his questionable money making strategies he’s quickly kicked tf out, and the universe spites Mark by having Dark and Wilford take pity and claim him.
Murdock is simple: he likes money and to be able to do his.. Art. He sniffs out Actor Mark’s need for vengeance and sees a customer for his services- of course- he’ll extort the shit out of him, but Mark getting a chance to burn that old, ugly, less cool manor to the ground? He’s flooding Murdock with cash. Murdock LOVES the passion behind Mark’s fury, often getting his own inspiration behind his… Art pieces.
Let’s just say their all hands on meetings are… weird. They do not see themselves as a team, but Mark likes to at least force them to work together to actually accomplish things, but they’re always seeing each other as competition for Mark’s attention (or money). Sometimes leading to some to play nicer than others.
They will NEVER be as coordinated as Dark and Wilford’s little team, but they are easily WAY more unpredictable. Mark REFUSES to be just another memory, he will pester and ruin those who wronged him, whether it’s by his own hand or his force. He will remind Celine what she’s done, he will kill William whenever he is able, and he will destroy anyone willing to stand behind those traitors.
