Hi this is kat! I'm really sorry to have neglected this blog for such a long time orz In the meantime me and amy will make up for it by posting more during a week. Yes yandere squared will be more active again!
Out of curiosity, why do you like yandere?
Hmm, that's a difficult question. From my perspective, I like the yandere stereotype because I find that kind of reaction to emotional stress fascinating. What do you have to go through to think that killing someone for your lover is a good thing? What kind of mental state is that character experiencing at that moment in time? Most yanderes have interesting character histories that explain this, but not all... which is where headcanon, a thing I find personally enjoyable, comes in.
I'm not sure if Emma has answered this question before, but if she hasn't, I'll be sure to direct her to this post and edit it later.

My reasons are actually similar to Lita's. I find the psyche of a yandere extremely fascinating, especially since a yandere is a conglomeration of natural human emotions--namely jealousy, envy, and anger--taken to their logical (or sometimes illogical) extreme. It's a perfectly natural reaction for someone to become jealous or upset if their lover turns to someone else, but what state of mind must someone be in to justify murder for such an act? What "snapped" in them, so to speak? Why is this the option that they turn to? As someone interested in psychology, you can learn a lot about truths of humanity by examining fictional characters.

Could you please upload some... yandere glasses girls? Thanks! Oh, and if you could succeed where I have failed in finding yandere Steins;Gate fanart... :)
Yes, of course! Added to the queue.
