MarkiMash||Meetups and Troubles Ch. 11
A/N so here's that short chapter (as you can see) I was talking about. Ch 12 is a bit longer but I have so much to do xD so thank you guys so much for being patient! "I bet you twenty bucks someone's gonna interrupt us," Mark said with a playful smile, still with Yami pinned between his arms. "Ma'k, how could you be making bets at a time like this? You're killing the mood." "So you do like me." "No, I-" "Yami," Mark groaned. "Come on, just say it. Say it once out loud." He stared at him but still, Yami shook his head. "Fine, I'll say it first. I. Love. You."
Will Mark and Yami finally convey their love for each other???

Markimash||Meetups and Troubles Ch. 8
Jordan dropped Yami off a little after lunch. Yami was greeted by Wade and walked inside. Mark, again, was finishing up a video. Although this time, the shouting of two voices seemed louder than usual. Wade and Yami stood in the kitchen having a fun conversation until footsteps sounded from the hallway. Yami turned his head as Mark waved and ran towards him, suddenly pulling him in for a tight squeeze. He almost felt his chest burst. Mark on the other hand, was very ecstatic. He missed his friend very much, and took in a big whiff, still pleasant smelling as always. "Yami!" "Hi Ma'k," Yami replied. "Oh, we need to take a quick selfie for Jess and Shane." "Really? That's what you ask me after we reunite? Okay!" They made goofy faces into the camera, lifting Aaron's heart a little bit. That's until another set of footsteps sounded and an all too familiar shouting voice echoed into the room. "YAMI! You didn't forget about me, now, did ya?" Jack exclaimed as he ran in. "Of course not, come on," Yami said softly and took a few more pictures with him and Mark and eventually Wade jumping in. "I can't believe it!" Mark exclaimed happily, his arm wrapped around Yami's shoulders. "Both my accent friends are here in the same room in my house!" "Hey, what about me?" Wade pouted a little. "And Wade, my very old friend." "Yay!" They all laughed. Mark looked down at Yami with a smile and then looked to Jack, pulling him in under his arm as well. Yami looked at him with a pang of jealousy and felt guilty for feeling jealous. What was he even jealous about, they weren't dating. He just smiled back at Jack, who was grinning at him. Yami didn't know what to do except stand there while they reminisced. Mark had spent nearly a whole 2 months without him and he felt awkward standing there with Mark's newfound, almost daily gaming buddy. Sure, he was great friends with Jack himself, but something about how close he was to Mark bothered the living hell out of him. They spent the day hanging out by the beach, catching up on each other's lives. The four looked like best friends hanging out, even with two pale, European guys. When they headed back to Mark's place, Yami became curious of Jack's presence. "Hey, Jack," Yami started as they settled in the living room. "Yes?" "How come you're here?" "Oh, I just though I'd visit for a while! I wanted to see America again, and boy has it been an adventure so far! And what brings you?" "I'm actually living here, now." "Really? That's awesome! You'll still come back to visit us, though, right?" "Of course," Yami replied with a smile, until one more thing occurred to him. "Where are you staying?" "I'm staying here in Mark's place. I get to take the couch," he said, patting the arm rest. "Not the most comfortable thing, but it is a nice couch." Jack laughed. Yami nodded, again feeling the pang of jealousy because of Jack. He got up as soon as the doorbell sounded and sighed. "Well, guys, my ride's here. I have to get back to Jordan's." "You're leaving already?" Mark asked with a frown. "It's only 10!" "Yeah, I know. I can't believe I have a curfew, either," Yami replied with a laugh. "Well, you'll be back tomorrow, right?" Mark asked with puppy dog eyes. "Of course I will." Yami smiled as Mark came up to hug him goodbye. 'You're the reason I moved...' He thought to himself, letting his friend hug him for a couple more seconds. Wade waved him goodbye as he came from the bathroom and Jack patted his shoulder. "Good to see you, Yami!" The Irishman shouted out as he left the door. "Good to see you, too, Jack!" Yami called as he headed into Jordan's car. --- "So?" Jordan asked. "How was it?" "It was better than I could have asked for," Yami replied. They had arrived home and were getting settled for bed. Yami had lay down on his mattress while Jordan stood by the doorway. "I heard Jack. Is he really there?" "Yep, in flesh and bones." "No...trouble?" "None," Yami finally replied after a few seconds, reakizing the implied meaning. "Maybe I really was overreacting?" "Well, as long as you're feeling better about it. Night, Yami." "Night Jordan." The lights were turned off and Yami lay on his side. He closed his eyes, ready to sleep, until his phone rang with a Skype call. "I should really...hello? Jess?" "Hey, Aaron." "Shane's not on this time?" "He went to the gym." "Oh. How's the babby?" "She's doing great. Wanna say hi?" "I'd love to." He waited until Jess came back on screen with their cat. "Ziggy Ziggs! Hello, babby...how are you? I'm sorry I didn't say goodbye." He went on in a baby voice, talking to the cat with a smile. "So I saw the picture. How was it?" "It was...great." "Oh, what's wrong now?" "I just...I didn't expect Jack to be here, too." "No one would have, Aaron. Don't be such a baby about it." "I'm not being a baby!" "Yes you are." "Am not!" "Look, you are right now." Yami huffed in defiance. "Fine. I am being a baby." "I'm sure Jack won't cause you any trouble, Aaron. Don't overreact. You might be in for a surprise." "I guess. Well, good night Jess. Tell Shane I said hi. I'm exhausted." "Will do," she replied with a giggle. "Good night Aaron. Say bye bye, Ziggs!" She lifted the cat's paw as if to wave and ended the call. Yami fell back onto the bed with a grunt and fell asleep immediately. --- For the next few days, it was guy time. Other than Wade making those occasional calls to his girlfriend, they were all having a great guys time out. Yami was starting to feel that Jack wasn't a threat anymore. He was becoming more comfortable with Jack being around Mark. And there were those times they started relating with memories from their home countries. One night, they were in Mark's house watching TV while consuming a large amount of alcohol. Yami hadn't taken as much this time, just a few shots of vodka to pass the time. Jack didn't take a lot, maybe half a glass, before he started becoming a little woozy. He wasn't drunk, but he could feel some of the effects kicking in. As for Mark and Wade, they were drinking a considerable amount. Jack sat with Yami on the couch, enjoying the show and watching Mark and Wade go around the living room in drunken states. "So, Yami! When are you heading out?" "I don't know, actually. Jordan said he was getting off a little late, but that was like half an hour ago." "Great! That means a little more time with a sober person!" "Haha, that's true," Yami smiled at him. "You must have a giant tolerance level or something! Even with a freaking bottle of vodka, you still sound sober!" "I don't know, actually. I suppose I do have a big tolerance level." Their conversation went on, talking about future conventions and videos that they might do together and enjoyed their bonding. That's until Mark came stumbling over. He looked so wasted, but neither of them commented. Yami watched as Mark sat beside Jack and wrapped his arm around him. Jack sat there laughing at the babbling nonsense and looked at Yami with a shrug. Yami watched the behavior. He smiled back at Jack, but inside he felt a familiar pang of jealousy hit him from an old memory. He felt like this was going somewhere he didn't want to be there for. He frowned inside, sitting and listening to Mark talking to Jack in a series of slurs. "Oh, man, Jack! You are the greatest, the bestest, most awesomest...coolest person...EVER!" Mark hiccuped, and pat Jack's chest. "And...you know what...nothing can everrr....everer...replace you...I would marry you..." That's when Yami stood and checked his phone to see Jordan had texted him. And right on time, too. "Sorry, I'm leaving. Bye Jack." "No, Yami you can't leave me with this crazy man!" Jack started laughing as he waved to Yami. Yami just gave a small smile back and scowled as soon as he turned, heading out the door and into Jordan's car. "Sorry about being late, Yami. I didn't expect it to go on so long." "It's fine. I'm ready to leave." "Are you okay?" "Can we go, please?" Yami asked in irritation. "Ohh...kay...yeah, sorry." Jordan looked ahead at the road and kept silent during the entire way home. Yami just got into the house and cleaned himself off, changing into fresh pajamas. He made sure to wash out the taste of alcohol before he went to sleep and looked down the hallway as Jordan made his way tiredly into his room. "Hey, Jordan?" "Yeah, what's up?" "Sorry about earlier. I'm just angry..." Jordan smiled. "It's okay. Get some rest." "Should say the same for yourself." Yami smiled back as he sat down on his bed. He lay down and stared up at the ceiling, ignoring the Skype calls. He finally fell asleep after glaring up at the ceiling for so long. --- He woke up the next say, confused on what to do. He didn't want to talk to Jack or Mark, he didn't want to talk to anyone. He wanted to occupy himself with something, but he just didn't know what he was doing. Eventually the motivation ran out and he sat in the living room, watching TV for most of his day while Jordan was out. He went on to Twitter and YouTube and decided to edit some clips he had leftover and upload them. He remembered the tour video he made of his temporary living conditions and uploaded that as a late update video. Those on Twitter or subbed to Sparklez's channel would have already known. He was exhausted by the end of the day. It was already evening again and he felt terrible. He went to drink several glasses of water, peed, and isolated himself in his room. He had to do something better than this. Though it had only been one day. What was he even complaining about, Mark was drunk last night! He needed to fix himself up. --- Yami tried to leave, but to no avail. One day he went to chill at the beach, but only for a few hours. He didn't want to get sun burnt, even if he had been living here for a month now. He was still a pretty pale guy. After weeks had passed of seeing Mark and Jack taking pictures together and posting them on line, he actually made the move to visit Mark again. This time was different, though. Jack was leaving for home. Yami arrived just as Jack had zipped up his final luggage case. "Woah, what's going on? Leaving already?" "Yami!" Jack exclaimed happily. "Where have you been? You died for a few weeks!" "Yeah, I guess. I was just having personal time to wind down. You know, all that stuff." "I totally understand ya! But yeah, my flight leaves tonight, sadly. I'm gonna miss all of you guys! It's been a real blast!" Yami smiled. He had nothing to worry about here. Not the fact that Jack was leaving, though that did decrease some tension. No, he had nothing to worry about because Jack wouldnt go after Mark. Would he? Yami suddenly felt flustered again, but didn't want to break down so soon. He joined in with the guys for Jack's final day with them. When they finally made it to the airport to say goodbye, Jack gave his final farewells and tight hugs to everyone. "Seriously, it's been great!" Jack said with an ever loud voice. "Wait, Jack," Mark intervened, pulling him off to the side. Yami kept an eye on them and listened in while Wade stood there with his phone texting Molly. Yami couldn't tell what they were saying, but caught several glances in his direction from both of them. He saw the color of Mark's face change to a soft pink and suddenly felt crushed. He was going to tell Jack that he loved him and Yami couldn't just butt in. He could just barely hear the last part of their conversation. Mark had taken Jack's hands and looked at him with a sad smile. "....heart...mine...love..." And they embraced. "Promise....tell...?" "Promise," he heard Jack say and started stumbling off to the side, his feet slowly regaining their step as he walked away, speed increasing. He caught sight of Jack and Mark starting to run towards him as he tried to maneuver between groups of people, nearly at the brink of tears. Jack was able to keep up and slip through the broken parts of the crowd and finally stopped Yami in his tracks and pulled him aside. "Yami, what's going on? You just suddenly paled and bolted," he breathed out, but kept standing tall. "Get away from me, Jack! I don't want to talk about it!" Yami pushed Jack's hands away when he tried to comfort him and held himself. "Yami..." Jack looked over his face and gave a small smile. "I don't love Mark, if you want to know." "W...what?" Yami wiped a fallen tear off his face and looked at him with a red nose. "I don't love him in the way you think I do...sure, he's a great guy and a great friend. I love him to death. But I see the way you look at him, Aaron." Jack smiled and started wiping Yami's tears off his face. "Besides, if it's any consolation, I have a girlfriend." "Y-you do?" "Yeah, I do." "Oh...um...I-I'm sorry...I f-feel stupid now," he said with a breathy laugh. "Look, Yami. You're a great friend, too. I wouldn't ever want to hurt you. Now you be good, okay? I don't like seeing you cry like this." Jack pulled him into a hug and smiled, tousling his hair afterwards. "Let's play sometime soon, okay?" "Yeah," Yami said with a smile. "Soon." "Now come on. The two goofballs are probably worried about us." Jack smiled as he and Yami walked back and Mark pulled Yami into a big hug. "Oh, god, Yami, are you okay? Your face is red and your eyes are puffy. Were you crying? Oh, nevermind that, this is the second time you've run off at an airport. Stop. Please. Just stay with me so I can male sure you don't die." Mark was talking rapidly and Yami just smiled, letting him hug him as he went on and mouthed a "thank you" to Jack, who mouthed back a "you're welcome". Mark finally released Yami, his cheeks a fair pink as he smiled and the three waved to Jack as he left.
