She could pretend that she was going to buy everything she saw, and then just dump the basket in the dressing rooms, taunting herself with unattainable desire. Deziree came straight after class, simply to gaze at the handbag display in one of her old haunts.

Ursula’s gaze dropped for a moment, scanning over the documentation that was laid out before the woman. She was clearly working through some legal documents, which meant the Cuzco fiasco was still hot on the mind. Good. She could use that to her advantage. Dark eyes flickered up to the beleaguered old woman again and she gave a polite, empathetic smile.

“Don’t worry about that for now. You don’t even know what I’m offering yet,” she said with a simple shrug. “Perhaps you’ve already found a solution that I haven’t yet.” Though she highly doubted it, considering Yaiza’s entire current demeanor. “As it stands, I’ve been thinking quite a bit about your situation that you relayed to me earlier this month. And I believe I may have something to offer.” Crossing her legs, she placed her hands delicately on her lap, looking at Yaiza directly.
