Oh gosh. I’m super flattered, but I’m seriously the worst person to ask because I’m a panster and I suck at plotting. I just kinda go and hope something coherent comes out of it. 

I’m honestly the most useless writer. 

If I was going to give advice it would be to think about what you want from the story. Be it big revelations or certain emotional beats, whatever. Then think about the best way to build that up to convey it.  

So what kinds of scenes can you use to define or build up that emotion, or to give a background for some future revelation? I think it also helps if you can note certain highlights you want to hit, things you might have a clear picture of in your head. Then you can kinda sprawl out from there and connect the dots, so to speak. 

And this isn’t necessarily for plotting, but my only real piece of writing advice to anyone, is to read it back out loud. 

Always read it out loud.

You’ll find a lot of clunky sentences, a lot of missing story beats, or even dropped words, if you read it out loud.

Ugh I know, I’m super emotional about this too! I’ve grown so attached to all of the characters and their journey and- ugh it’s too much. THough I have to wonder what their next adventure is going to be, and who we’re going to meet.
