that really sounded like a DECLARATION of WAR. yuu couldn’t say that he didn’t notice, it was pretty obvious by now ( and not to mention that he actually caught him speaking to himself ). the thing is... that he was trying to deny it. truth to be told, from the very first moment he felt for toono he understood that it was going to be a TOUGH path and even if he was being a little PUSHY towards him, what he truly cared about was seeing toono comfortable and happy. though, actually listening to kyosuke, someone he loves and admires basically CONFRONTING him this way was a hard pill to swallow.
silence took over the room for a few seconds as yuu was trying to completely understand the situation. for a moment, he even wondered if this was some kind of NIGHTMARE, or just simply a very BAD JOKE that kyosuke was pulling on him. but that was most likely IMPOSSIBLE yet facing reality wasn’t an easy task to do. he wanted toono, he DESIRED to be with him and the best case scenario for the photographer was a happy life with him. but after all, everything lied on toono’s hands, he was the only one who could CHOOSE what he truly wanted, and if that meant himself being out of the picture, then he had to accept it. yuu wasn’t a bad loser, but only god knew how much it would HURT him to the core. however, he felt a sudden rush of ANGER running through his veins, not because of his cousin’s confession but by the way he was speaking. just who does he think he is?
“i admire your courage, kyosuke. getting to accept something like this certainly isn’t easy. but i am not going to tolerate that you refer to toono as if he was some kind of prize. he is not a object,and this is not a competition. but if you think that you are competing against me then you are really wrong and you should do a check on yourself. don’t use me as excuse to hide your feelings.”
