And the next moment, the child was there, their bare feet landing noiselessly on the floor. They rocked forward, then backward, then forward again, and stopped still. The dust motes waltzed straight through them. The floorboards did not give under their weight, nor did they so much as groan. On instinct the child performed the motion of drawing a breath--they parted their lips and pulled air into a gasp, only to find the air could not be pulled. Panic stormed their chest, began to fight its way up their throat, and there was no air, no air, no air. They were suffocating, they were drowning, out here in the open, in this tired grey wreck of a house, with no one to see them. They would slip back into the nothing as quietly and easily as they had sprung from it, and they didn’t even know their own name.

I mean, obviously not. but I would imagine Not Being Able To Breathe is a weird sensation to get used to

also I picked up my switch today!! it’s so nice!! I’m playing stardew valley on it!! also it came with all of these extra things that I thought I was gonna have to buy separately!!! and it’s basically like brand new anyway!! I feel like I robbed a cash converters today!!! do they know they could have sold this for a ton more money!! do they know!!
