/Upon noticing a hint of nervousness, or perhaps wariness of speaking to a stranger, he offers the friendliest smile he can manage. Soon enough, his smile fades and his brows furrow./ You don’t have anywhere to stay? I- do know some hotels, but. Are you all alone? 

/He leaned on a wall, bored of leisurely walking all night. It wasn’t all that great either, he thought. Windy, a little drizzle every now and then. Suddenly, a female voice interrupts his thoughts in an abrupt manner, his attention now on her./ Yes, cousin? What can I help you with?

This whole occurrence was odd to him. Who exactly was she? And how did she pick up his scent? "Ah, I see," he had nodded his head, eyes still wide from the previous confession. "That's interesting as well. I guess there's more here than I thought."

He was hesitant to answer, for the sake of his secret, but he decided to tell her anyway. She was persistent, he had to give her that. “Mutation,” he had murmured, just loud enough for the woman to hear. “I just happen to have a specific gene. I’m guessing you have a secret, too?” It was a bold question, but he doesn’t hold back. 

His face remained blank, for the most part, as his mind scurried to think of something to make up. He doesn’t enjoy doing this, but he has to for the sake of his identity. “I’m pretty sure I’m human the last time I checked,” he had replied, voice firm. 

He blinked, eyes wide as he listened to the woman in front of him. “I don’t quite understand…” he had began, an eye slightly twitching. Don’t tell him that she meant about his mutation? “What do you mean?” If there was one thing he had vowed to not tell anyone randomly, it was his abilities, and he doesn’t know how to handle the situation. Claude hoped she couldn’t see through his lies and waited for a reply quietly.
