also i didn’t have a lot to say about it but similarly, the mirror world episode is just as fun as ever

Goddamn do I love the mirror world episode of XY. And y'know it, it's got a lot of potential to it. Mirror!Ash pretty much has regular Clemont's goals and development, learning to be braver and more confident in his abilities. Mirror!Clemont is badass hot interesting since he has the different belief and stance from his regular counterpart. I'm not sure what sort of character development arc he could have then, but he certainly is interesting. Mirror!Bonnie, I'll admit now, is pretty plain, but then again so's regular Bonnie. So until a character arc comes up for either of them, they can keep doing what they've been doing, assuming that Mirror!Bonnie does the same things as regular Bonnie. Not that there's anything wrong with that; I actually really like Bonnie, and I like the personality difference of mirror!Bonnie. Though to be fair, there could be a thing where she learns to be just a little bit more critical of her brother instead of just straight up supporting him, while regular Bonnie learns to not be so harsh. Just a suggestion. But Mirror!Serena is something I really like. First off, the straight forward fact that she fights! She's all up your face like "Yo, Imma battle you!" I want that in regular Serena so bad. Admittedly, she is a jerk, boasting to poor wee Mirror!Ash after she beat him, rubbing it in his face. But I have to say, that's also the best bit; that could lead to some good character development for her, learning how to tone it down and not be such a glory hound, maybe even sympathising with others' feelings or being more gentle with others, because it looks like she was also a bit at odds with Mirror!Clemont. Seriously, that could easily be a character arc for her. And now I want fanfiction. Fuck. Bonus; mirror!Pikachu is a cocky little shit. That would be brilliant.
