James Dolan, owner of Madison Square Garden and The Sphere in Las Vegas, has used facial recognition software and spyware to track patrons of the venues in order to retaliate against hud employees and critics. This includes multiple forms of tracking throughout the venue, up to bathrooms. Dolan spies on his employees’ emails. NY Knicks’ Patrick Ewing warned friends that locker rooms were “mic’d up.”
Facial recognition is used in sporting venues for ticketing and merchandise… and to survey social media for dissent.
