Valkyries Game Nights return to Thirsty Nomad for our Halloween Havoc event!!! We're doing horror right with some classics such as House of the Dead & modern frights such as Catherine, plus a little competition for you & friends with Super Mario Party & Overwatch's Junkenstein's Revenge! Friends, Friday this week is an extreme madhouse of awesome activities happening all over the Queen City (Saturday is too, but we'll get there tmw). One of those is our next break into the gaming scene as we collaborate with @thirstynomadbrewing , @koyobi_gaming , and @xrvrcade to bring to you the half-year marker in the Valkyrie Event series, which just so happens to fall in our favorite month here at RF20XX, making it officially time to get spooky in our favorite titles 🎃 ~~~~~~~~~~ If you've never been to one of these events before, the Valkyrie Game Night series is a collaboration between our teams & TNB to put together a night for promoting gender equality in gaming at a place where it's part of the mantra. To achieve this, we heavily promote female-led organizations and offer these same groups the opportunity to run the show in ways they believe would benefit our gaming community. @femmefoxfatale is one of these community leaders who has been with us since the beginning, and she's done quite a bit to build the event to what it is now. About 4 days ago, in planning for the next Valkyries event over at Thirsty Nomad Brewing, one of our friends had the great idea of bringing up an old gem that stems back to the days of the arcade reaping us of our quarters. ~~~~~ Whether at Laser Tag, Pizza Hut, or Carowinds, if you found this game, chances are you came out of any place $5 or more shorter, but all had fun with Midway's Gauntlet: Dark Legacy (or Legends for you older types). ~~~~~ While we're still getting the gear for it (4-player attachment), we at RF20XX will lovingly record our adventures in attempting to grab all the secret characters as all of us at TNB continue to plan one of the bigger gaming events for August '19, here in Charlotte, NC!! ~~~~~ Come check us out on the night of the 16th, we'd love to see your faces.
