Sora and Piyomon
Due to her maturity, Sora rarely has people that cling to her. She takes care of people but people don't normally take care of her. It's one of the many reasons she has difficulty understanding that her mother's efforts aren't based from hate.
Sora just isn't the type of friend one clings to, she's the person you come to for help or to play with. This is the primary reason Sora was initially irate with Piyomon's clingyness, she had never experienced it before. She rarely felt spoiled or looked after, certainly not held onto like she was precious.
It was a disturbing emotion for her initially and she didn't like it.
Piyomon was the one who taught her that relationships could be equal give and take, rather than just giving everything she has to person, she would protect Piyomon and Piyomon would in turn protect her. And there was always cuddles at the end of the day.
For Sora, no matter what anyone says about her ability to love, Piyomon was the one who taught her how to love. She may of loved before Piyomon but she'd never known how.
