1. my favorite characters always tend to be the ones i have personal connections with, or can at least admire on a personal level. for example, sayaka is my favorite madoka character because i connected with her story on a very personal level. i could relate, and i felt almost everything she felt. whereas, with satsuki, from kill la kill, i admired the way she had complete control over a school with stalwart determination. i like determination! mother 3 is my favorite game of all time because i could connect with the story as well
2. the phase i am most embarrassed of is the 2EDGY4U phase i had back in middle school when i would tell every variety of racist, sexist, homophobic, etc. jokes to whoever would listen. i have never been so happy to grow up and get over those in all my life
3. i used to hate hyper-masculine 80's style anime like jojo or fist of the north star bc i just didnt like the way the art looked at all. now i know better. i know so much better
4. i love dogs and i want nothing more than to get one as a pet, but dogs growling at me is one of the very, very few things that racks up my anxiety like hell
