Team Arrow Rebirth / Dinah, Oliver & Roy
Dinah wasnât going to let Roy face this one his own. She let him down once before but she wasnât going to let him down again. Not anymore. She wasnât going to let him be on his anymore. She had tried to stop him but she couldnât. He was too far gone but she wasnât going to stop. He needed someone and if Jason wasnât going to be there, then Dinah was.
Having headed home like normal, she opened the back of her wardrobe and looked at the costume she once wore. She wasnât going to put it back on. Not now. However, she grabbed the leather jacket and gloves and wore a turtleneck black sweater before grabbing her motorcycle.
Driving with reckless abandon, it took her a good while. It took her a day and a half to finally make it. It was around one am where she pulled up outside the dingy motel. After âpolitelyâ asking the owner where Roy was, including pressing his face rather harshly against the desk while holding his picture to his face, Dinah headed outside. A woman on a mission. Apparently two thugs were as well. They were banging his door, talking about owing money. Dinah stopped at the top of the stairs, her adrenaline already pumping, like a mother about to do anything to save her child. She knew Roy had saw her fight before but this was different. This wasnât her stopping someone who needed to be stopped. This was her saving someone she would kill for. Slowly pulling the turtleneck sweater collar over half her face, Dinah charged in and so did they when they spotted her.
Dinah charged in and grabbed the firstâs wrist as as the other continued to hammer âKennyâsâ door, the scumbag she was dealing with letting off a gunshot that rang clear through the night. She smacked his arm with her elbow before her elbow then connected with his temple. Usually so controlled, Dinah had let loose like a ferocious martial arts animal. She took the gun away from him and was ready to shoot him in the knee before the guy managed to get in a right hook, causing the gun to drop over the balcony to the ground below. Turning with the momentum, Dinah charged back at him as his friend tried to get involved. Pining his friend behind the other, she punched her originally target in the face before booting the other in the knee causing him to stumble back onto the stairs for a moment. Though she was able to to get a knee strike in, the bearded scruffy male was able to push back and managed to land two punches to the side of her head, only being barely about to block it but still get hit. She usually spoke about remaining in control of a fight but this time, this wasnât a fight. This was her family. As they struggled, Dinah used all her strength to throw him down onto the ground with force.
However, the bald headed but equally scruffy guy came back and before she could react, the duffel bag hit her square in the jaw, causing her to fall onto her back. For half a second, Dinah wondered if that just happened. The other half, she remembered how many times she had took hits from far better and stronger people; Ted, Shiva, League of Assassins. Hell, even Sara when they sparred. There was no way she was going to lose when Roy was at stake. Getting up, Dinah pushed the man back and landed a solid punch to his kneecap. She could feel her raw rage in her as the man raised his arm to defend himself as she kept landing punching with one hand to his scalp till his back hit the banister of the stairs to the upper rooms before disarming him from the bag over the banister and into the carpark. As he came out of her grasp, Dinah blocked a right hook before using a kickboxing kick to send him flying down the stairs and over the banister, the drop alone enough to incapacitate him but not kill. That was when her moustaches friend charged her from behind, causing her tumble down the stairs and his the banister full force. Hearing the click of a loaded gun, Dinah was looking up from the landing of the stairs to a loaded gun aimed for her head.
