My Xiphon Interceptor, âApolloâ, is now ready for combat. I partially painted it like a Colonial MkII Viper, basically because it looks like one. It will make an effective addition to my IV Legion forces, providing great air cover and some nasty tank hunting ability (possibly not as good as the pair of Lightning Strike Fighters in their tank hunting ability).

So, I've managed to pick up a Xiphon Interceptor for £50. I can't wait until this arrives as it is my first serious interceptor, this will hopefully neutralise the Imperial Fists' airforce quite nicely. That is now seven aircraft. Two Heldrakes (one needs painting), two lightning strike fighters, the fire raptor, the Valkyrie and, now, the Xiphon. What I would love to do is to paint it up as a Colonial MkII Viper from Battlestar Galactica, I might even reference Husker or Starbuck or, to keep in reference to my vehicles names of ancient Greek mythological beings/gods, Apollo. Ahhhhh so excited.
